This feel-good series is all about empowering individuals through the power of good old-fashioned makeovers. Karamo Brown, Jonathan Van Ness, Tan France and Antoni Porowski are responsible for culture, grooming, fashion and food, while Bobby Berk takes the interior design helm. Over the course of one week, Bobby and his team transform individuals’ homes into refreshed, inspiring living spaces that align with and reflect their newfound self-confidence. The Fab Five’s holistic approach to the makeover elicits genuinely emotional moments and beautiful transformations both external and internal. And Bobby definitely has the hardest job of all — he has to transform an entire home! If you’re wondering why he has less screen time, it’s because he’s pretty much a permanent fixture at IKEA.

Clerkenwell Design Week

In his more than thirty years at Walt Disney Imagineering, Bob Weis created story-driven experiences in every Disney property around the world. As sustainability slowly and steadily rises in the design zeitgeist, we’re always pleased to showcase new sustainably made or inspired products and collections from our exhibitors. The new Spatial Palette from Patcraft provides a warm, durable, and design-forward palette of carpeting made entirely from PET, making it fully recyclable. This show follows preservation enthusiast and Detroit native Nicole Curtis as she rehabs historic (and oftentimes dilapidated) houses to their former glory. Because Curtis aims to retain as much of the homes' original building materials and character as possible, her flips aren't easy. Still, the final reveals prove that a little ingenuity and elbow grease can go a long way.

Dream Home Makeover

An artist at heart, Stephanie Hatten founded SH Interiors to create spaces designed with her clients’ tastes in mind. This love leads to the fabulous incorporation of one-of-a-kind pieces into her designs. In the store, nine new ceramic vases will stand against a monumental canvas by the Italian Neo-expressionist painter Sandro Chia. The bold vases embody the fusion of Eastern and Western traditions that Yang D’Haene expresses in her work, where she combines porcelain and stoneware with gestural incisions and encrustations disrupting the symmetry of the form and creating unexpected surfaces. Held twice a year, the Maison&Objet trade fair is one of the most influential interior design exhibitions in the world. The program infuses education, trends, and insight from design and decor experts along with almost 2,000 exhibitors, including top European brands.

"The aim of the project is to replace the conventional architectural language of symbols with a language of metaphors, based on the idea that symbols possess an unequivocal meaning and intellectual formula, while a metaphor is an image whose meaning is indefinite.
